My poor sick child

I don't know how mothers with more than one child can handle sick children. Matthew has been really sick this past week (videos and pictures below to prove it) and with that has come no sleep for either of us. He kept me up many nights so far crying non stop and all I could do is rock him back and forth, it is exhausting. Now that I have taken him to the doctor and found out that he has a really bad ear infection (of which he showed no signs of whatsoever....tough little guy) and bad congestion and drainage, it got me thinking. What on earth am I going to do when I have more than one. There is no way I will have the energy to not only take care of a sick baby, but run after a toddler too. This scares me....if there are any mothers with more than one child, and has been through the sick child and toddler deal please...I could use some advise or reassurance that it is possible. I am not complaining, I think Matthew has been a REALLY good baby considering how much pain he has been in. I am just saying, I am the type of person that can't function AT ALL without enough sleep. This I might have to say was harder than labor and delivery. LOL (All I can do is laugh at this point right)!!! But, if you are concerned, Matthew is doing great (the antibiotic is kicking his illnesses booty), he is actually sleeping, eating, and drinking fluids now that his throat and ear doesn't hurt as much. Of course now I have the crappy bug, but I think my defenses are a little better than his so I will be ok (thanks for reading this incredibly LONG entry as a reward here are some pics and a couple of videos).

He has ooze coming out of every hole on his face.....EWE, But he can still pull it off (even with the lazy eye). Oh how he makes me laugh.

This is what a baby with an ear infection and sickness looks and sounds like.....and who does he call for when he is sick (not mama like you would think, right, dada is the winner...really I am. Once he got tired of playing with daddy, he came straight to me)

(And I know I have Buggs Bunny teeth at the end of this video...who cares it is supposed to be about Matthew anyways :)

Cuddling with my baby.....I love him soooo much! I wish I could take the sickness away and give it to me (Oh wait that did happen LOL). And, I know he is shirtless but he had a high fever, better safe than sorry, right.
